Dundas Castle Wedding

Dundas Castle is a Scottish luxury wedding venue, one of the top five-star wedding venues in Britain, Orange Lemur photography has fallen in love with this beautiful historic castle because it’s simply a perfect place for a fairytale wedding, the wedding of your dreams. Located just outside Edinburgh with beautiful views on bridges. I don’t know what we love the most about this place? Beautiful location, historic character or maybe because it is one of the most romantic wedding venues we have worked in. A dedicated and very professional Dundas event team was very helpful too.

Real life wedding – Louise and Alastair

Today Orange Lemur photography would love to share with you Louise and Alastair’s beautiful Dundas Castle wedding we have a pleasure photographing on March this year. What we can say? It was just a perfect day from start to finish with lots of lovely, carefully selected wedding details. Louise looked amazing in her beautiful wedding dress (Mila Nova) and bridesmaids with flower girls looked fantastic. There were many special gifts, some of them you can see in photos. They have their humanist wedding ceremony at the chapel conducted by Robert Anthony.

Fantastic Day & Great Weather

We have been lucky to have beautiful, sunny weather all day, We organized many outdoor photos with the bride and groom and also a large group photo of all the guests. Dundas castle has beautiful interiors in historic style but with a warm, family home feel, a lovely staircase is just perfect for photos. We organized some family photos and a few portraits with Louise and Alaistar at the drawing room. There was a special wedding cake made by a very talented bride and groom’s friend Leanne Grey. We can’t also miss one of the groom’s men Dom Ferguson who was a piper on a wedding. After speeches, we organized more photos with the bride and groom. This time after dark, we went for a short walk on castle grounds. After a beautiful first dance everyone enjoyed dancing, the Dance floor was full.
